Clear a lifetime of trauma.
In 3 to 6 hours.

Most therapy asks you to revisit your pain over months. The T2Z Intensive does something different: using a research-backed, submitted for peer-reviewed, we work through the root targets driving your symptoms in one focused session — typically three hours — and you walk out the other side. You don’t have to spend months in therapy to feel better. I developed Target 2 Zero — a trauma processing protocol that clears traumatic memories in as little as 5 to 15 minutes, without dissociation or destabilization — because I got tired of watching people suffer longer than they needed to.

I’m Scarlett Williams, LPC, EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant, and developer of Target 2 Zero. I work with people of all ages navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and the feeling that something is just stuck. My approach is direct, research-grounded, and built to get you real relief — not just coping skills.

I also certify clinicians and train organizations in T2Z — because the more people who have access to this, the better.

Your symptoms make sense. If you are ready, let’s get you where you want to be.

Investment

$3,000

Consider what you are actually investing in.

Therapy is typically priced by the hour. The T2Z Intensive is priced by the outcome — and the outcome is not symptom management. It is the permanent editing of the threat memories that have been organizing your life.

The research tells us something most people don’t hear from their therapists: the longer a traumatic memory goes unprocessed, the more of your life gets built around it. Avoidance accumulates. Comorbidities develop. The memory doesn’t just cause suffering — it becomes a structure. A framework your nervous system uses to interpret everything that comes after it.

A person who clears a trauma target in 5-20 minutes doesn’t simply recover from a symptom. They recover decades of life that would otherwise be spent managing it.

That’s what $3,000 buys. Not an hour. Not a coping skill. Not another referral. A permanent reduction in the amount of your life that gets organized around what happened to you.

The investment is $3,000. The return is the rest of your life.

Intake

Before any processing begins, we spend 30–60 minutes mapping the terrain. Using your pre-intensive CTI assessment as a baseline, we identify the specific targets driving your current symptoms — the stored sensory details your brain encoded as threats and never let go of. Not every difficult memory. The root ones. The few that became the framework everything else was built around.

This is also where the Safety Heuristic reframe happens. You’ll understand, before we begin, that your symptoms are not a malfunction. They are an overperforming threat-detection system doing exactly what it was designed to do. That shift — from “something is wrong with me” to “my brain is doing its job too well” — changes everything about what comes next.

T2Z Processing

This is the heart of the intensive — and where T2Z does what no other protocol does at this speed.

Using comprehensive motor-based bilateral stimulation, we activate the threat memory while simultaneously engaging all four levels of your motor system. Your brain cannot maintain the high-fidelity threat encoding of the original memory while your motor cortex is fully occupied. The memory reconsolidates — not erased, but edited. The sensory precision that made it feel present, immediate, and dangerous is reduced until it is simply something that happened.

Each target takes an average of 15 minutes. We work through them in sequence, and we do not move on until each one meets all four clearance criteria: SUD of zero, body scan clear, positive cognition fully installed at a VOC of 7, and future resources established. A target is not “mostly cleared.” It is cleared.

Most clients process their full target list in under three hours. You will not leave with an open target. That is the standard this protocol holds itself to — and what the published data reflects: 100% target clearance across all 111 targets in the case series.

We don’t stop when time runs out. We stop when the target is clear. That’s the difference.

Intensive Follow-Up

Thirty days after your intensive, we meet again for 30 minutes. By then, your nervous system has had a month to operate without the threat memories that were running it.

What clients notice in that window varies — but it is rarely nothing. Sleep changes. Reactivity decreases. Situations that once activated a full threat response simply don’t anymore. Sometimes relationships shift, because the lens through which you were interpreting them has changed. Sometimes the absence of a symptom is so unfamiliar it takes weeks to trust.

The follow-up is where we document those changes against your baseline CTI scores, address anything unexpected that surfaced during integration, and confirm that every target cleared during the intensive has remained clear. It is also where we assess whether any secondary targets have become visible now that the primary ones are gone — and determine whether any additional work is indicated.

Most clients leave the follow-up with nothing left to do. That is the goal. The intensive resolves. The follow-up confirms it.

The intensive resolves the targets. The follow-up confirms that resolution held — and that you have everything you need to stay there.

What Is a T2Z Intensive

Not a session.
A resolution.

Standard trauma therapy is built around the 50-minute hour. That structure exists for billing convenience — not because it’s the most effective way to clear trauma. It means you arrive, open something difficult, and then stop because the clock ran out. You drive home with an open wound and come back next week to reopen it. This is not a design flaw someone is working to fix. It is the model.

T2Z was designed to do something different: work until the target is cleared. Without stopping. Without destabilization. Without sending you home in worse shape than you arrived.

In a T2Z Intensive, we spend three to six hours together. We identify the root targets driving your symptoms — not every difficult memory you’ve ever had, but the specific sensory details your brain encoded as threats and hasn’t let go of. The memories that became organizing structures. The ones your nervous system has been treating as present-tense dangers for months or years or decades. Then we clear them, one by one, using comprehensive motor-based bilateral processing, until each one reaches a Subjective Units of Distress score of zero, a clear body scan, and a fully installed positive cognition.

Not reduced. Not reframed. Cleared.

“Your symptoms make sense. Your brain is keeping you safe the only way it knows how. Let’s help it edit the details — and get you where you deserve to be.”

Most clients clear the primary targets driving their PTSD, anxiety, or depression in under three hours of active processing. The remaining time is preparation, integration, and making sure you leave grounded, clear, and with a full account of what was resolved. You will not leave with an open target. You will not leave in crisis. You will leave knowing exactly what changed and why.

Target 2 Zero integrates performance enhancement, prevention, and treatment into a single system — so you are not choosing between feeling better and functioning better. The intensive is where all three converge: your brain edits the threat memories that have been taxing your cognitive resources, your nervous system stops spending energy on a danger that no longer exists, and you walk out with the capacity that was tied up in survival now available for everything else.

This is not therapy as you have experienced it. It is what therapy was always trying to get to.

The Research

These aren’t claims.
They’re data.

T2Z is the subject of an IRB-approved case series, statistically analyzed by the Virginia Tech Center for Biostatistics and Health Data Science and submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. The numbers below are not testimonials. They are outcomes — measured, verified, and analyzed by independent biostatisticians who had no stake in the results.

What the data shows is not a modest improvement over existing trauma treatment. It is a categorical difference. Standard EMDR — itself considered one of the most effective trauma protocols available — processes a single target in an average of 180 minutes, with a 69% clearance rate and a measurable risk of dissociation and destabilization. T2Z processed the same targets in an average of 20 minutes, with 100% clearance and zero dissociation events across all 111 targets in the dataset.

That gap is not a rounding error. It is a different mechanism producing a different class of outcome.

A note on timing: the 20-minute average reflects the protocol as it existed during the case series. Since that data was collected, T2Z has continued to evolve. Refinements to the protocol — additional procedural elements that improve both speed and completeness — have brought the current average closer to 15 minutes per target in clinical practice. The published data represents a floor, not a ceiling. What you will experience in an intensive reflects the current protocol, which outperforms what is reported here.

Who is this for

3 to 6 Hours.
The right person.

A T2Z Intensive is not for everyone — and that’s the point.

It’s designed for people who are ready, who want results, and who don’t want to spend years in weekly therapy to get them. It is not a good fit for someone who is in acute crisis or who is not yet ready to process the memories that are driving their symptoms. If you are not ready then you not ready that is totally o.k.

But if you are stable, functional, and carrying something you are simply done carrying — if you have been managing symptoms for months or years and you are tired of managing them — this is what the intensive is built for.

The people who get the most from a T2Z Intensive are not necessarily the people with the least trauma. They are the people who show up willing to move through it. Readiness is not about how much you’ve suffered. It is about whether you are done letting what happened to you determine what comes next.

If you are not sure whether you’re a good fit, the pre-intensive intake will answer that question before you commit to the full day and you can always book 15 minutes to ask questions.

Good Fits

You’ve tried therapy and it didn’t move the needle

If you’ve done the work — CBT, standard EMDR, talk therapy — and the symptoms are still there, the issue may not be you. T2Z operates on a different mechanism entirely.

You want results in days, not months

You have a clear presenting issue, you’re ready to process, and you want to walk out different than you walked in. The intensive format is built exactly for this.

You carry a specific event — or a lifetime of them

Whether it’s a single critical incident or decades of accumulated trauma, T2Z works target by target. Most complex presentations cluster between 6-20 targets.

I’ve been a counselor for 25+ years. I trained in EMDR, became an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant — and then spent years frustrated by its limitations. Clients dissociated. Processing stalled. The theory didn’t hold up. So I built something better.

Target 2 Zero emerged from a straightforward clinical observation: children clear trauma in minutes using movement. Adults were being asked to sit still and suffer through it. T2Z fixes that. The result is a protocol that is faster, safer, and more complete than anything else available — IRB-approved and submitted for publication.

What to Know
Before You Book

What does “clearing a lifetime of trauma” actually mean?

It doesn’t mean processing every difficult experience you’ve ever had. It means identifying the root targets — the specific sensory details your brain encoded as threats that are driving your current symptoms — and clearing each of those to a SUD score of zero. Most complex presentations trace back to 6–10 core targets. The intensive is designed to clear them.

Will I be destabilized? Will I leave in crisis?

T2Z produced zero dissociation events and zero stabilization sessions across 111 targets in the published case series. The protocol is specifically designed to eliminate the destabilization that makes standard EMDR unpredictable. You will leave grounded, with all targets cleared and integration complete.

Why does this cost $3000.00

A T2Z Intensive is a full day of dedicated one-on-one clinical time with an expert clinician using a protocol that took 25 years of clinical experience and years of research to develop. Standard weekly therapy to achieve comparable results costs significantly more over time — and typically doesn’t achieve 100% target clearance. This is an investment in resolution, not management.

Do I need to have done therapy before?

No. T2Z does not require prior trauma therapy. A pre-intensive intake is included to assess readiness and build your target sequence. If the intensive is not the right fit, you’ll know before you commit to the full day.

Where does this take place?

In-person at 2001 South Main Street, Suite 104, Blacksburg, Virginia. Travel intensives may be available for groups or organizational clients — contact for details.

Is this covered by insurance?

The T2Z Intensive is a private-pay service. A superbill can be provided for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Given the outcomes data, many clients find the out-of-pocket cost compares favorably to months of weekly therapy.

You’ve carried this
long enough.
